The International Securities Exchange is committed to educating the investing public about the versatility of options as investment tools. In August 2002, the ISE founded its own Education Department, headed by options industry veteran Alex Jacobson.
As a member of the Options Industry Council (OIC), a non-profit joint venture by the five U.S. options exchanges and The Options Clearing Corporation, the ISE participates in the creation of educational materials and programs designed to reach investors and brokers alike.
