Overview

     ISE is an SEC registered exchange, not an electronic communications network (ECN) or alternative trading system (ATS). A fifteen-member board of directors, of whom eight are non-industry (public) directors, provides policy decisions and general direction. The officers and management of ISE, who handle the Exchange's daily functioning, represent a unique combination of talent and experience including entrepreneurial, technical, regulatory and exchange management skills.

     ISE is composed of five divisions, including Finance & Administration, Technology, Market Operations, Legal & Regulatory and Marketing & Business Development. The team of assembled professionals is working to ensure the high level of growth, smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements envisioned by the founders and senior management.
