Connecting to the ISE

Members have several options to establish a connection to ISE. Upon establishing their connection to ISE, members have full access to ISE technical support.

MEMBER CONNECTION TO ISE

Members may order their own dedicated circuits to ISE, using their telecommunications carrier of choice. Members can also order connectivity from several point-to-point service-providers. Circuits may be ordered in parallel with the membership application and approval process.


MANAGED NETWORK SERVICE PROVIDER

Managed Service Providers offer connectivity and data services on a global scale. They have run high capacity circuits into ISE, and offer bandwidth to firms seeking connectivity to ISE.

INTERNET CONNECTION - VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (VPN)

Members may use their existing broadband internet service to connect to ISE over a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN offers security and encryption features that provide a level of security comparable to that of a private network. VPN PrecISE is an appropriate solution for firms running one or two PrecISE Trade™ workstations.

SFTI CONNECTIVITY

Members may use their connection to the Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure® (SFTI®) to connect to ISE.  SFTI is a fully redundant, diverse network operated by SIAC®, which provides high data throughput and low latency for ISE's members.

VIA ORDER ROUTING SERVICE BUREAUS

Order routing service bureaus are independent firms that aggregate order flow from multiple sources and route it to ISE using their own connections.

To connect to ISE, order routing service bureaus must establish a direct connection to ISE. Order routing service bureaus are responsible for ordering and managing their own telecommunication lines to ISE.
